Enraptured states of dance brought forth through the synchronization within the rhythm of sound are as ancient as humanity. When humans can dance together in an entranced way, community and movement become a source of liberation.

Within the container of safety, sovereignty, and autonomy,  altered levels of consciousness can be accessed and healing becomes a collective endeavour, once again.

Sonic Sojourn is an opportunity to align with our *well* ancestors who knew how to access these states and the many indigenous people around the world who still practice altered states of consciousness through music and dance. We begin to rekindle a legacy for the future generations on how to awaken and unlock an ancient animist awareness within ourSelves. Channeling the Divine and allowing it to emerge from and return to, us.

Void (they/them)

Void is a multi-genre musician/producer and DJ with a penchant for hypnotic and psychedelic techno. They’re also an astrologer, sound healer, tarot reader, forever student/teacher, and observer of the patterns, self-identifying as a chaotic neutral mystic. Their profound cosmic wisdom and deep emotional current echoes throughout everything they do, creating a ripple effect of change and transformation wherever they go.
